Artists Statement
"The inspiration for my artwork comes from sketchbooks and diaries in which I explore ideas.  The materials used, are chosen for their appropriateness and availability. Art practice is a way of understanding the world and synthesizing perception.  It also serves as an area to experiment and play with concepts. It is natural and necessary for me to draw, write and paint. It is important for me to explore not only the seen, but the invisible and spiritual aspects of human existence."
