I have always been an artistic person, dabbling in various mediums over the years. I seemed to have found my niche in Jewellery design and creating large wearable art pieces for shows.

Inspiration for my work can come from many different sources. It could be from a themed challenge, photographs, or nature. However I am very much influenced by living in the Whitsunday area - I love the ocean and watching the waves roll in on the beach or crashing up against rocks, certainly gives me all the inspiration I need.

I have no formal education in Jewellery Design or Art - but I am currently studying a Certificate II in Visual Arts at Central Queensland TAFE - to further my knowlege. This course has given me access to learning new mediums such as working with glass. Glass is a fantastic medium to work with, and being able to make my own fused pendants and cabochons has opened up a new side to Jewellery Design.

Artists Statement
My pieces range from simple necklaces and bracelets, through to very complex bead embroidered collars. Using a variety of materials from semi-precious gemstones, Freshwater Pearls, Swarovski Crystals, Czech glass, and a range of handmade Lampwork from Artists around Australia and overseas. Each piece in my collection is unique and very rarely repeated - unless requested. Pieces can also be made on request and to the customers requirements.
